WELCOME!
Let me
introduce you to the Florida Mini Roadracing
Association; FLAMRA is a South Florida based amateur
racing organization that provides an introduction to the
sport of motorcycle road racing to riders of all ages,
gender and abilities in closed courses with a focus on
safety, camaraderie and sportsmanship, while maintaining
operating capital in the interest of providing
affordable quality competition opportunities for our
members. The club has many race classes to fit the needs
and skills of all riders. Starting with 50cc bikes for
the small displacement lovers and the youth (ages from
4), expanding up to the sometimes-intimidating supermoto
formula for the seasoned vet.
We
welcome everyone!
Although FLAMRA was founded in 2008, the group of people
behind it have been promoting the sport since the early
2000’s running a weekly practice open track every
Saturday night or Sunday afternoon at Miami GP Raceway (Opa Locka, FL).
Mission Statement
To promote safe and affordable amateur motorcycle racing
in South Florida, for the purposes of recreation, fun
and development of the stars of tomorrow. We are
committed to:
-Provide introduction to the amateur sport of
motorcycling and motorcycle racing in a safe, closed
environment without the greater speeds of full-sized
motorcycle racing
-Foster development and improvement of racing skills
at all levels from beginner to expert
-Offer a healthy family environment where parents
and kids can start to share a life lasting common
passion
-Provide an environment in which our young members
can learn and be coached from our more experienced
members
-Foster camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst its
members
-Promote a
positive image of motorcycle racing in regards to
safety, technique and attitude
-We have a place for you to come out with your
family or friends and have a great time
